Very hot chilli sauce.
Ingredients:
450 g very hot chilli peppers without stems;
4 cloves of garlic;
12 large basil leaves;
1 cup of vinegar; 1 teaspoon of salt.
Preparation: preheat the oven to 200 °C. Place the chilli peppers and unpeeled garlic cloves on a baking sheet. Put the vegetables in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
Wait until the skin of the peppers wrinkles a little, but does not burn. Grind the peppers and peeled garlic in a food processor. Add the basil leaves and grind the mixture again.
When the vegetables are well mashed, pour in the vinegar, add salt and mix the sauce. Strain it and pour into sterilized bottles.
It can be stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
Be careful: this sauce is really hot!
